Welcome to Beverly Hills Optometry: Advanced Dry Eye Center

What to expect at the 1st Consult visit (for dry eye, MGD, Stye, Chalazion)?

During your initial visit, the appointment will last approximately 1-1.5 hours. The doctor and our team will review your intake forms and perform an in-depth and thorough evaluation of your ocular surface using advanced diagnostic testing/imaging. Once all the information and findings are gathered, the doctor will create a customized treatment protocol based off your condition(s).

EMERGING TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR DRY EYE

What is the fee for the initial visit?

Our consult fee with Oculus/Firefly dry eye imaging is $260. Alternatively, we do accept most major medical PPO plans.

Optional: We do offer additional advanced testing, some of which  are Tearlab, Optos, and/or OCT.

What is the price of treatments? Does insurance cover my treatments?

Our current treatment prices range from $150-$3200 per procedure. Majority of the advanced treatments are not covered by medical insurance or vision plans. The few that are covered typically don’t address the root cause of the issue (ie punctal plugs) and are applied toward the medical deductible.

What is your practice philosophy?

Since 2013, our practice philosophy is patient education and empowerment. We take a holistic and root cause approach to managing our patients condition(s). In fact, a majority of our patients respond well to their initial therapeutic plan but some may need adjustments along the journey to success.
