Dr. Kambiz Silani, OD, serves as Chief Clinical Director of Beverly Hills Optometry. In 2013, he established the practice’s Dry Eye Center in Beverly Hills, California. As a second-generation optometrist, Dr. Silani’s practice incorporates office-based and evidence-supported technologies to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of ocular conditions, including ocular surface disease (OSD).
Within the optometric community, Dr. Silani participates in education and collaboration related to the management of ocular surface disease, including Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Dry Eye Disease, Ocular Rosacea, Chalazion, and Blepharitis. He has served as a consultant, speaker, and collaborator for several eye care and medical technology companies, including Johnson & Johnson Vision, Lumenis, Alcon, CSI Dry Eye, Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, PatientPop/Tebra, Sight Sciences, and NuLids.
Dr. Silani has appeared as a guest on the television program The Doctors and has contributed written content to various publications and media outlets, including Fox News, NBC News, Refinery29, Review of Optometry, Modern Optometry, and Optometry Management. He has also been recognized in LA Magazine and Newsweek listings of eye care providers in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Dr. Silani emphasizes patient education and helping individuals better understand their eye health and treatment options. He works with patients experiencing dry eye symptoms and other ocular surface conditions to develop individualized care plans that support visual function and comfort.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Silani enjoys traveling, swimming, and exploring cuisine. He welcomed his first son in July 2023 and his second son in January 2025.
